Welcome to SOULVEDA LABS PRIVATE LIMITED (“SoulVeda”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://soulvedalabs.com, our mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1) Eligibility (16+)
The Services are intended only for users who are 16 years of age or older. By using the Services, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 16, you must not use the Services.
2) Your Account
You may need an account to access certain features.
You agree to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information,
- keep your login credentials confidential,
- promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3) KYC / Verification (When Required)
Certain features may require identity verification (“KYC”) to improve trust, prevent fraud, ensure safety, or comply with legal requirements.
If KYC is required:
- you agree to provide valid and accurate verification information,
- we may use third-party verification partners,
- we may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if verification fails, is incomplete, or appears fraudulent.
4) Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Services.
You must not:
- violate any law or regulation,
- impersonate any person/entity or misrepresent affiliation,
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information,
- harass, abuse, defame, threaten, or discriminate against others,
- upload malware, attempt hacking, or interfere with security or functionality,
- scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code (except where permitted by law),
- use the Services to facilitate unsafe, illegal, or harmful activities.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5) User-to-User Marketplace Disclaimer (Important)
Some SoulVeda Services function as a platform/marketplace that enables users to interact, list, discover, request, book, rent, hire, sell, buy, or otherwise transact with each other (“User-to-User Transactions”).
SoulVeda is a technology platform, not a party to user transactions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific Service:
- We do not own, create, endorse, control, offer, or guarantee user listings, user services, user goods, or user performance.
- We do not act as an agent, broker, employer, contractor, or insurer for users.
- We do not guarantee the identity, quality, safety, legality, suitability, availability, or accuracy of any user, listing, service, or item.
Users are solely responsible for:
- verifying each other (identity, capability, ownership, permissions),
- complying with laws (permits, taxes, local rules),
- deciding whether to transact,
- executing the transaction and handling delivery/returns/quality disputes.
Risk acknowledgement: You understand that User-to-User Transactions involve inherent risks. Use caution and common sense, and report suspicious activity to support@soulvedalabs.com.
6) User Content (What You Post/Upload)
Some Services may allow you to upload or submit content (text, images, listings, reviews, messages, etc.) (“User Content”).
You:
- retain ownership of your User Content, and
- grant SoulVeda a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), display, and distribute your User Content only as needed to operate, market, and improve the Services.
You represent that:
- you own or have necessary rights to your User Content, and
- your content does not violate laws or third-party rights.
We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
7) Payments, Fees, Escrow, and Refunds (If/When Applicable)
Some features may be paid, subscription-based, or include transaction fees.
If payments are enabled:
- prices/fees will be shown before you confirm a transaction,
- payments may be processed by third-party payment partners,
- certain features may use wallets/holds/escrow-like mechanisms (where supported) to reduce fraud,
- refunds/cancellations (if any) will follow the policy displayed at the time of purchase/booking.
User-to-user refunds: Where a transaction is between users, the refund outcome may depend on the relevant listing terms, evidence, and dispute outcome. SoulVeda may facilitate the process but does not guarantee refunds unless explicitly stated.
SoulVeda may introduce or revise fees with reasonable notice as required by law.
8) Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may integrate or link to third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, KYC verification, maps, analytics). We are not responsible for third-party services and their policies. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms.
9) Intellectual Property
All rights in the Services (software, design, logos, trademarks, content, and overall look/feel) are owned by or licensed to SoulVeda and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted under these Terms or by written permission from SoulVeda.
10) Privacy
Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy available at: https://soulvedalabs.com/privacy
11) Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time (maintenance, security, improvements, or business reasons). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
12) Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we do not guarantee the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free,
- we do not guarantee outcomes or results from using the Services,
- we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Marketplace disclaimer: SoulVeda does not guarantee any user listing/service/item, or any transaction outcome between users.
13) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoulVeda (including its directors, employees, and partners) will not be liable for:
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
- loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption,
arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services or from User-to-User Transactions.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum permitted by law and, where applicable, capped to the fees paid by you to SoulVeda (if any) for the relevant Service in a reasonable lookback period.
14) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoulVeda from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- your use of the Services,
- your User Content,
- your User-to-User Transactions,
- your violation of these Terms or any law,
infringement of third-party rights.
15) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you violate these Terms,
- we suspect fraud, abuse, or security risk,
- required by law or to protect other users.
Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Dispute Resolution survive termination.
16) Safety & Meeting Guidelines (Marketplace Safety)
Some SoulVeda Services may involve meeting in-person, exchanging goods, renting equipment/property, or providing/receiving services. Your safety matters.
16.1 General Safety
- Prefer in-app communication before sharing personal contact details.
- Verify the other party’s profile details and, where available, verification/KYC status.
- Do not share sensitive information unnecessarily (OTP, passwords, bank details).
16.2 In-Person Meetings
- Meet in public, well-lit places whenever possible.
- Avoid meeting alone; consider bringing a friend/family member.
- Inform someone you trust about the meeting details.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, don’t proceed.
16.3 For Rentals / Equipment / Property
- Inspect items before accepting, paying, or signing anything.
- Document condition with photos/video during handover and return.
- Ensure proper permissions/ownership from the provider.
- Follow safe usage guidelines; use only as intended.
16.4 For Service Providers
- Provide accurate capability/qualification information.
- Follow applicable safety and legal requirements.
- Respect user property and privacy.
16.5 Emergencies and Reporting
SoulVeda is not an emergency service. If you feel unsafe or threatened:
- contact local emergency services immediately,
- then report to us at support@soulvedalabs.com with relevant details.
17) Prohibited Items, Services, and Misuse
You must not use SoulVeda Services for listings, transactions, or activity involving prohibited items/services, including but not limited to:
17.1 Illegal or Regulated Goods
- illegal drugs or controlled substances
- weapons, ammunition, explosives
- stolen goods or property obtained unlawfully
- counterfeit goods or pirated content
17.2 Adult and Explicit Content
- pornography or sexually explicit content
- escorting or sexual services
- any content involving minors (zero tolerance)
17.3 Harassment, Hate, and Violence
- hate speech, extremist content, incitement to violence
- bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation
17.4 Financial Fraud and Scams
- impersonation, phishing, pyramid schemes
- fraudulent KYC, forged documents
- money laundering or suspicious payment routing
17.5 Dangerous or Harmful Services
- instructions or services intended to harm individuals or property
- medical services by unqualified individuals
- activities that are unsafe or illegal under local law
17.6 Privacy and Surveillance Abuse
- spyware, unauthorized surveillance tools
- selling personal data of others without consent
- doxxing or sharing private information
17.7 Platform Abuse
- spamming, fake listings, fake reviews
- manipulating rankings, referrals, promo abuse
- scraping, automated bots, unauthorized data extraction
We reserve the right to:
- remove prohibited content,
- suspend/terminate accounts,
- report to law enforcement where required.
18) Dispute Resolution, Mediation, and Arbitration (India-friendly)
18.1 Informal Resolution First
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@soulvedalabs.com and provide:
- your account details,
- a brief description of the issue,
- relevant evidence (screenshots, transaction references),
- the resolution you are seeking.
We will try to resolve the issue in good faith within a reasonable timeframe.
18.2 User-to-User Disputes
For disputes between users (quality, delivery, performance, refunds), you should first attempt to resolve directly with the other user. SoulVeda may provide tools (chat, dispute workflow, evidence upload) to help. SoulVeda is not obligated to mediate and does not guarantee outcomes unless a specific Service explicitly promises protection.
18.3 Mediation (Optional Step)
If unresolved, either party may propose mediation. If agreed:
- it will be online or in Hyderabad, Telangana,
- in English,
- costs shared equally unless agreed otherwise.
18.4 Arbitration (Binding)
If still unresolved, the dispute shall be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended):
- Seat/Venue: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
- Language: English
- Arbitrator: Sole arbitrator appointed mutually. If not agreed within 30 days, appointment will occur in accordance with the Act.
- Interim relief: Parties may seek interim relief from competent courts in Hyderabad as permitted by law.
18.5 Exceptions
Nothing prevents either party from approaching courts for:
- interim injunctive relief,
- intellectual property protection,
- fraud or criminal matters,
- any non-arbitrable dispute under applicable law.
19) Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the Dispute Resolution section above, courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana will have jurisdiction.
20) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the latest version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or website.
